Registered Nurse (RN) - Primary Care

About the position

The Registered Nurse II - Ambulatory role at MaineHealth is designed for professional nurses to assess and address the needs of patients and families seeking care in a physician office setting. This position involves performing a variety of patient care services to support physicians and advanced practice practitioners in delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assess the needs of patients and families calling or presenting for care.
• Perform a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians and advanced practice practitioners.
• Demonstrate competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse I - Ambulatory Care role.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required.
• Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• One year of RN experience required; two years of relevant experience preferred.

Benefits

• $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible Registered Nurses with up to 2 years of RN experience.
• $20,000 sign-on bonus for Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of RN work experience.
