About the position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position at Bee Busy Wellness Center involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a clinic setting. The RN will be responsible for triaging patients, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans. This role requires a strong focus on patient assessment, education, and support, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Triages patients and prepares them for their medical visits
• Performs the evaluation and documentation of Lab Techs
• Collects and records vitals and completes PHQ2 and PHQ9 forms when appropriate
• Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans
• Prepares and administers medications and records prescribed medications
• Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments
• Assesses the patients' ability to do routine daily tasks
• Provides immunizations during vaccine clinics
• Provides birth control medications and consultations
• Assists patients with basic needs such as dressing, eating, and bathing
• Supports Providers during their visits through preparation and support of annual well visits
• Recognizes and manages different syndromes
• Prepares equipment and aids providers during examination and treatment of patients
• Recommends clinical objectives and participates in the designation of priority objectives
• Ensures compliance with all state, federal and regulatory standards
• Supports the health center's Accreditation Processes
• Maintains clinical compliance with standards of care
• Assists in developing the organizational plan for health service operations
• Serves as a member of the Quality Improvement/Risk Management Committees
• Follows infection disease control Policies and Procedures
• Facilitates patients' active participation in their health care
• Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely
• Maintains client confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA requirements
• Provides administrative support for updating clinical guidelines
• Performs other position-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid RN License
• BLS Certification
• High school diploma or GED
• Bachelor's degree in business, health center management or nursing, or four years work-related experience
• Minimum two years management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in urgent care or ER management preferred
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals and professional journals
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
