About the position

The Registered Nurse (RN) at The Wilshire Skilled Nursing & Therapy is responsible for managing comprehensive nursing care for residents, ensuring their safety and maximizing their quality of life. This full-time position offers various shifts, including weekends, and includes a sign-on bonus of $1,500. The RN will work closely with residents, families, and healthcare teams to monitor health conditions and administer treatments.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and administer prescribed medications and treatment following approved nursing techniques.
• Ensure residents' chart is current.
• Observe residents and record significant conditions and reactions.
• Notify appropriate parties of residents' changes in condition and response to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
• Take vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess residents' condition.
• Keep residents' families and physicians informed of any changes in resident behavior, medications, or health conditions.
• Modify residents' care plans, care directives, Activities of Daily Living (ADL), and Aide flow sheets in conjunction with residents' changes in condition.

Requirements

• Current and unencumbered Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification.
• One (1) or more years of experience in a skilled nursing or Long-term Care environment is preferred.
