Responsibilities

• Administer medications, provide vaccinations, and perform treatment for residents
• Communicate with physicians, NPs, radiologists, CNAs, and other medical professionals
• Engage with physicians to create an individualized Plan of Care for each resident
• Supervise the caregivers on your shift (CNAs)
• Create and contribute to residents' electronic medical records as needed
• Respond to inquiries and concerns from residents and their families or guardian
• Offer education to patients and their families, ensuring they feel supported and informed
• Provide thorough documentation to ensure timely communication and accurate care

Requirements

• Valid nursing license
• Working knowledge of EMRs
• Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
• Ability to communicate treatments and conditions effectively to residents and their families
