Registered Nurse (RN)

About the position

Sage Specialty Hospital (LTAC) in Opelousas, LA, is seeking Full-Time and PRN Registered Nurses (RNs) to join their new facility. The role involves providing exceptional patient care and supporting patients in their recovery journey. The RN will be integral in coordinating patient care and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Delivers optimal patient care to patients requiring Skilled Nursing and/or rehabilitation nursing care for general medical and post-surgical conditions.
• Coordinates all aspects of patient care; initiates and updates the plan of care.
• Completes all documents timely.
• Assures compliance with local, state and federal laws including problem resolution and complaint investigation.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted Louisiana Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Must have current CPR Certification.
• Compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with great time management skills.
