About the position

Arrowhead Health and Rehab in Jonesboro, GA is looking to hire a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This rehabilitation nursing position is crucial to our clinic's operations, as the RN plays a vital role in providing total care for our residents. The RN will be responsible for carefully monitoring the condition and needs of residents, following physician orders to administer medications and treatments, and ensuring compliance with narcotic policies and procedures. The RN will also monitor for side effects and report any changes in the condition of residents. Additionally, the RN will oversee the nursing assistant-registered (NAR) staff to ensure that resident care plans are being followed. In this role, attention to detail is paramount, as the RN will complete documentation, admit and discharge residents, and report any bruises, skin tears, or neglect observed during care. Upholding confidentiality and adhering to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements, as well as facility policies and procedures, is essential. The RN's warm and friendly demeanor will facilitate excellent customer service and help build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and colleagues. Responsibilities

  • Provide total care for residents by monitoring their condition and needs.

Requirements

  • RN licensure with the GA Board of Nursing
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
  • Desire to work with the elderly
  • Experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required.
