About the position

The position is responsible for the assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care in an acute patient setting. The role emphasizes holistic and individualized care, patient and family education, and effective transitions of care. The nurse will develop and implement care plans that consider various factors affecting patient health and will maintain collaborative relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assess and coordinate nursing care for patients in an acute setting.
• Deliver direct patient care and provide education to patients and their families.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans.
• Foster collaborative relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Adhere to hospital policies, industry standards, and applicable laws to promote patient experience.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state where care is provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• 2 years of recent relevant nursing experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing theories, concepts, and practices.
• Working knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
