About the position

The Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Step Down ICU at INTEGRIS Health involves providing exceptional patient care and support within a collaborative healthcare team. The RN will manage and deliver patient care using the nursing process, ensuring adherence to safety goals and population-specific competencies. This role includes responsibilities such as patient assessments, care planning, and supervising other healthcare personnel. Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Conduct assessments and re-assessments of patients.
• Develop and implement plans of care for patients.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of patient care interventions.
• Supervise and coordinate care provided by licensed and non-licensed personnel.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students as appropriate.
• Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals based on patient contact level.
• Participate in on-call status as required.
• May be required to float to other units.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
• Current BLS certification upon hire, or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Department specific competencies to be completed during orientation.
• Valid driver's license and proof of current automobile liability insurance.

Nice-to-haves

• Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse (CHPN) preferred.
• Current ACLS certification for specific departments.
• PALS certification for Emergency Department within 12 months of hire.
