About The Position
When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you're making a difference in people's lives. PACU is a 37 bed unit that cares for inpatients and outpatients who have anesthesia for a variety of surgical and procedural interventions. The unit is opened 24/7 and works closely with the Department of Anesthesia. Many ICU patients are cared for in the unit overnight so ICU experience preferred. The BIDMC Nursing Mission is to build on a legacy of nursing excellence by caring with compassion, advancing the art & science of nursing, and advocating for the health of patients, families, and communities. The Clinical Nurse II utilizes the nursing process as the frame of reference for practice as a professional registered nurse and provides direct nursing care to patients and families.
