About the position

The Registered Nurse at the Center for Foot and Ankle Surgery LLC is responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing medical plans, and monitoring treatment outcomes. This full-time position requires travel to multiple surgery centers and involves both clinical and administrative duties, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Start IVs prior to surgery
• Record patient vitals and medical information
• Monitor, report, and record symptoms or changes in patient conditions
• Administer medication to patients and monitor for side effects and reactions
• Assess, implement, plan, and evaluate patient nurse care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members
• Modify patient health treatment plans based on conditions and responses
• Recognize and understand the different needs of patients
• Comply with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
• Record medical information into Epic
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
• Handle administrative duties including budgets and financial matters, and complete necessary paperwork.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing
• Proficient in starting IVs
• Knowledge of AAA Joint Commission accreditation
• Proficient with paperwork

Nice-to-haves

• At least 2 years of experience preferred
• Experience in a surgery center preferred
• Epic experience preferred.
