The New York Center for Innovative Medicine is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with an integrative medical background or a strong interest in alternative medicine. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work independently and collaboratively with medical staff, performing minor procedures and providing patient education in a supportive environment. Responsibilities

• Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements.
• Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; calling for assistance from health care support personnel.
• Maintains a cooperative relationship among the health care team by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; and participating in team problem-solving methods.

Requirements

• Current RN Licensure to practice in the State of New York
• Significant experience with IV insertion
• Must be open-minded to training and willing to learn new techniques
• Dedication, enthusiasm, and confidence are key to this position
