About the position

DaVita is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join their outpatient dialysis center in Jonesboro, GA. This role focuses on providing exceptional care to patients suffering from end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease. The nurse will build meaningful relationships with patients and their families while delivering care in a supportive team environment. No prior dialysis experience is required, as training will be provided. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver empathetic and compassionate care to patients in an outpatient setting.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families.
• Oversee a group of patients with the support of Patient Care Technicians (PCTs).
• Conduct patient observations and measure vital statistics.
• Set up and manage dialysis machines as needed.
• Float to various clinics during and after training as required.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N) preferred.
• Three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
• Valid RN License.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) settings.
• Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification.
