The Registration Representative at AdventHealth Sports Med & Rehab in Daytona Beach plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to patients visiting the clinic. This position involves assisting patients with registration, verifying benefits, and ensuring accurate account information, all while contributing to a team dedicated to whole-person care.

Responsibilities

• Greets all customers in a helpful and courteous manner while extending exemplary customer service.
• Registers patients for all services, ensuring patient demographics and account information is appropriate for patient account type.
• Responsible for clearly explaining authorizations/pre-certifications, and/or benefit memos on patient accounts.
• Performs eligibility and benefits verification and re-verification applicable to patient's visit.
• Maintains a current and thorough knowledge of utilizing online eligibility and pre-certification tools.
• Screens and assists all incoming telephone calls and visitors to ensure routing to appropriate personnel.
• Monitors patient wait and registration times to achieve current standard of patient wait times.

Requirements

• High School Grad or Equivalent
