Responsibilities

• Perform onsite registration and arrival processes for patients.
• Manage discharge procedures and validate insurance information.
• Resolve issues related to registration, billing, and payment of accounts.
• Ensure accurate and thorough entry of cases into the admissions, discharge, transfer, and billing system.
• Provide customer service and status updates to patients in waiting areas and prior to departure.
• Request payment and provide payment plan information for patient account balances.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of documentation, critical thinking, data entry, customer service, and system knowledge.
