The Regulatory and Environmental Specialist at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Hospital plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe and compliant environment across the OKC Metro facilities. This position is integral to the Employee Safety team, focusing on identifying and mitigating environmental hazards while ensuring adherence to safety regulations. The specialist collaborates with healthcare staff and regulatory bodies to promote safety and compliance, ultimately supporting the health and well-being of caregivers and the community.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant environment in INTEGRIS Health facilities.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate environmental hazards and risks.
• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and administrators to promote environmental safety.
• Manage infection control and hazardous material management initiatives.
• Support overall patient and staff safety efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, quality improvement, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Joint Commission standards and other relevant regulations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
