About the position

The Regulatory Business Intelligence Advisor at Commonwealth Care Alliance plays a crucial role in providing decision support to executives and leadership through data-driven insights. This position involves collaboration with various team members to create actionable data and insights that inform organizational programs. Reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence, the advisor will assist in BI engagements, develop data visualizations, and support the design of reporting tools and systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in tasks assigned by the Director of Business Intelligence for specific projects as part of the BI Engagement lifecycles.
• Identify key data findings and trends in projects through graphical visualizations.
• Support the design and monitor end-user reporting tools and systems.
• Analyze large data sets into clear and concise observations.
• Develop data visualizations through graphics and visualization software.
• Support the design of advanced conceptual, logical, and physical data organizations, models, repositories, dashboards, and reports within a complete functional and technical architecture.
• Draft and maintain technical requirement documentation for report developers.
• Perform other related work as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1-3 years of experience in the health insurance industry preferred.
• Background in health care analytics or business intelligence.
• Experience working in a Matrix-Managed environment.
• Programming language skills (SQL & SASS).
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills.
• Knowledge of care management and health care industry practices.
• Analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Initiative, work ethic, ambition, and an appetite for challenging and often unstructured assignments.
