About the position

The Regulatory Change Manager at Provident Bank is responsible for overseeing regulatory changes and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. This role involves monitoring regulatory activities, conducting impact assessments, and collaborating with stakeholders to adapt policies and controls. The position plays a crucial role in maintaining the bank's commitment to compliance and enhancing the overall experience for customers and employees.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor upcoming and relevant regulatory activities, including investigations and legislative changes.
  • Conduct impact assessments of regulatory changes and identify appropriate stakeholders within the business.
  • Assist the business in developing action plans to address regulatory changes, including adapting policies and controls.
  • Lead the monthly regulatory change management working group and provide regular reporting on regulatory activities.
  • Review and update regulatory change management procedures to ensure they remain effective.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of relevant work experience in a corporate compliance function.
  • Five years of experience utilizing various regulatory monitoring programs, such as Reg Room.
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
  • Effective communication skills with stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in developing impact analyses and risk assessments.
  • Strategic oversight experience in compliance solutions.
