About the position
The Regulatory Lead Analyst is responsible for providing high-quality support to intake and triage regulations that enable partners to respond to and implement state commercial regulations affecting various plan types, including Commercial, Health Insurance Marketplace, and EGWP. The role requires timely regulatory assessments and management of day-to-day regulatory processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Intake, review, and triage state commercial regulations to appropriate internal partners.
- Provide collaboration opportunities with internal partners and cross-functional teams.
- Manage and monitor the commercial state regulatory processes for timeliness and completeness.
- Own and manage some regulatory requirement categories.
- Support account and implementation teams by responding to inquiries within the required turnaround timeframe.
- Create and run reports to support regulatory requirements.
- Lead and work on special projects as assigned.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the regulatory process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and/or 1-2 years of experience within a PBM setting.
- Knowledge of commercial state regulations preferred (but not required).
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop good working relationships with internal business partners.
- Effective communication skills with account teams and other internal partners.
- Excellent documentation skills with project plans and tracking of key deliverables.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage workload and meet project deadlines in complex situations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
