About the position

The Regulatory Reform Program Manager/Business Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting various regulatory projects managed by the Project & Portfolio Management team. This internal project management group collaborates with different business areas to execute both tactical and strategic initiatives. The individual in this position will work closely with the Program Manager and Senior Business Analyst to ensure the quality and timely delivery of project artifacts related to the Compliance Detailed Self-Assessment (CDSA). This includes participating in the design of a risk-based approach for periodic compliance risk re-assessment, as well as reviewing and conducting CDSA testing of the control environment based on the adopted risk methodology for SEC, CFTC, and NFA regulations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in project management, particularly with recent experience in regulatory projects. Familiarity with Dodd-Frank Title VII is essential, and experience in capital markets will be considered a significant advantage. The role requires strong communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into actionable steps. The candidate should possess a pleasant demeanor, be comfortable asking direct and pointed questions, and not hesitate to seek clarification when needed. This position is pivotal in ensuring that regulatory compliance projects are executed effectively and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of the organization’s compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Program Manager and Senior Business Analyst in managing regulatory projects.
  • Ensure the quality and timely delivery of project artifacts related to Compliance Detailed Self-Assessment (CDSA).

Requirements

  • Experience working on and managing projects, particularly in a regulatory context.
  • Knowledge of Dodd-Frank Title VII regulations is necessary.

  • Ability to distill information into actionable steps.
