The Senior Oversight Analyst - Regulatory Compliance Reporting plays a crucial role in collaborating with Compliance partners and other colleagues at TD to gather, aggregate, analyze, and publish data that provides insights to Executive Management and multiple Board Committees. This position requires a blend of logical and creative thinking to create reports, dashboards, charts, and graphs using tools such as PowerPoint, Tableau, and Power BI. The analyst is responsible for preparing presentations and memos that adhere to established reporting standards and procedures. Additionally, the role involves assisting the department with various operational and program functions, including monitoring and testing activities, data and analytics systems, reporting, drafting governance policies and procedures, and undertaking ad-hoc reporting and project initiatives as needed. In this position, the Senior Compliance Business Oversight Analyst provides objective guidance, support, and advice to assigned portfolios, businesses, or functions to ensure strong compliance controls and processes are in place to mitigate inherent risks. The analyst is expected to exercise sound and expert independent professional judgment and discretion when interacting and communicating with staff and senior management regarding significant regulatory compliance risk matters. This role requires an expert level of professional knowledge in compliance and a working knowledge of related areas, providing advanced analysis and specialized reporting to support business partners and functional areas. The analyst will also be responsible for researching, reviewing, and maintaining expertise on banking regulations and laws, as well as consumer protection laws. Acting as the primary subject matter expert for applicable regulations, the analyst will provide guidance and consultation to business partners regarding compliance with these regulations. The role includes creating training content and potentially training business partners on regulatory requirements, advising on the implementation of new and amended regulatory requirements, and independently reviewing documentation for business line use. Furthermore, the analyst will monitor business activities for compliance, identify areas of non-compliance, and oversee the remediation of regulatory issues, ensuring that the organization adheres to compliance standards and mitigates risks effectively.
