About the position

The Regulatory Research Coordinator at UCLA is responsible for overseeing and managing research compliance activities related to human subjects, animal use, conflict of interest, and export control. This fully remote position requires a highly skilled individual to review research protocols, assist in writing and compliance, and ensure adherence to federal, state, and university regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Staff and manage research oversight and compliance committee activities related to research activities.
  • Review research protocols for compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Assist in writing and reviewing research protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and university mandated laws and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience/training.
  • Independence, planning, and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of relevant Federal and State regulations and policies.
  • Problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Time management skills and flexibility to accommodate changing priorities.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented setting and prioritize work.
  • Proficiency with computers and personal computer software.
