The Regulatory Risk Officer is a strategic professional who plays a critical role in managing regulatory risks within Citi. This position requires a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape and the ability to communicate effectively with executive management regarding the implications of existing and proposed regulations. The officer will be responsible for developing potential responses to regulations that impact specific products or broader systemic regulations, including compliance with Basel II/III, MiFID, and various U.S. regulatory requirements from entities such as the Federal Reserve and the FDIC. In this role, the officer will provide risk strategic analytics and information management across Citibank products, ensuring data quality and controls are maintained for various teams and managers. The officer will also support regulatory risk project management, which includes gathering business requirements, conducting analysis, and testing for the delivery of regulatory solutions such as CECL and stress testing requirements. Additionally, the officer will perform business and data analysis to respond to regulatory inquiries and provide insights into portfolio performance. The Regulatory Risk Officer will work closely with clients to understand their needs and proactively seek feedback to drive organizational change. This role requires strong project management skills, as the officer will assist in managing various deliverables and coordinating the approval of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs). The officer must also demonstrate sound ethical judgment and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, safeguarding Citigroup's reputation and assets.
