About the position

The Regulatory Specialist at Teledyne is responsible for ensuring quality assurance in environmental recordkeeping and reporting for multiple customer facilities. This role involves researching air pollution regulations, preparing compliance reports for regulatory agencies, and guiding customers in monitoring and planning according to federal, state, and local regulations. The position requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work remotely with customers to analyze environmental data.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze environmental data and records for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist in designing and verifying air emissions calculations for compliance and reporting.
• Document and maintain air emissions calculations and procedures using various software programs.
• Provide support for customer reporting to EPA databases.
• Interpret environmental regulations and apply knowledge to recordkeeping and reporting efforts.
• Provide internal and external training on environmental compliance issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• At least three years of related experience, preferably with air emissions calculations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and public speaking.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to analyze and summarize raw data for regulatory reports.
