About the position

The Rehab Assistant position at BrightLife Chiropractic & Wellness involves assisting the Doctor and Physical Therapy Assistant in delivering effective therapy services to patients recovering from physical illnesses or injuries. The role is open to both part-time and full-time candidates, with training provided for the right individual. The position emphasizes teamwork, communication, and a dynamic approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assisting PTA with patient care and administrative tasks as needed.
• Helping with the progression of the patient's plan of care established by medical professionals.
• Utilizing therapy techniques such as E-Stim, trigger point work, muscle stripping techniques, and stretching protocols.
• Writing and dictating progress notes and discharge summaries after consulting with the supervising PTA.
• Maintaining frequent communication with the supervising medical professional regarding treatment plans and follow-up appointments.
• Performing filing, light cleaning duties, and opening and closing procedures.
• Possibly cross-training with front desk operations.
