About the position
The Rehab Director at Blue Stone Therapy is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of rehabilitation services within their assigned community. This role focuses on delivering high-quality rehabilitation services, ensuring optimal patient outcomes, and fostering strong leadership and management within the team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the onboarding, accountability, performance management, and development of employees.
- Manage daily staffing and utilization, including scheduling.
- Ensure clinical management of the rehabilitation department, including case management and care planning.
- Provide direct patient care as needed and meet productivity standards.
- Coordinate and participate in training programs for staff and patients.
- Ensure compliance with company and facility policies and procedures.
- Promote new program development focused on improving patient quality of life.
Requirements
- Successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Physical Therapy Assistant, or Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Minimum of one (1) year of hands-on clinical experience in a therapy services role.
- Current valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, Physical Therapist Assistant, or Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with NetHealth preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
