About the position

The Rehabilitation Program Manager is responsible for managing and administering all aspects of rehabilitation services within the community, while also maintaining a clinical caseload. This role involves advocating for residents, educating staff, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The manager promotes superior clinical and fiscal integrity and serves as a liaison among various healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a clinical caseload.
  • Demonstrates strong clinical knowledge across all rehabilitation disciplines.
  • Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws related to therapy services.
  • Assesses resident needs based on life span growth and development principles.
  • Acts as a liaison between HealthPRO-Heritage management and community administration.
  • Integrates clinical programs to address community-specific needs.
  • Participates in Quality Improvement Programs and patient care meetings.
  • Provides education to community staff, residents, and families regarding therapy services.
  • Plans and coordinates rehabilitation services, including staffing and scheduling.
  • Conducts performance appraisals for rehabilitation personnel.
  • Monitors compliance standards and investigates service-related issues.
  • Develops special programs for resident participation in therapy activities.
  • Supervises Rehabilitation Technicians, students, and volunteers.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in an allied health field, Bachelor's Degree, or Master's Degree.
  • Valid state professional licensure.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of rehabilitation services.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a clinical caseload.
  • Basic computer skills and typing abilities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Assisted Living, Independent Living, and CCRC settings.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and quality improvement processes.
