About The Position

The Rehabilitation Services Supervisor at ProMedica Health System is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the rehabilitation department, ensuring quality patient care while managing staff performance and departmental goals. This role involves direct patient care, staff supervision, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy (PT) or Occupational Therapy (OT).
• 5 years of clinical experience in a relevant field.
• Licensed in the State of Ohio and/or Michigan.
• Ability to work on a leadership team and organize work for self and others.
• Effective interpersonal skills for communication and direction.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in PT, OT, Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), or related healthcare administration.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care according to clinical job standards, including age-specific criteria.
• Supervises, assists, and trains clinical and support staff.
• Prepares and monitors daily staffing schedules, adjusting as needed based on patient care volume.
• Conducts annual performance reviews for all staff and participates in hiring and performance improvement decisions.
• Orients new team members to the department.
• Reviews and confers with management on procedural and policy changes.
• Executes environment of care rounds to ensure a safe environment for staff and patients.
• Maintains appropriate inventory of supplies through routine processes.
• Monitors budget performance to ensure positive outcomes.
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Completes special projects as requested.
• Responsible for all other duties as assigned.
