The Rehab Tech Champion position is a full-time role focused on assisting licensed therapists in providing rehabilitation services to patients. The primary responsibilities include supporting patient-related activities, maintaining a clean therapy environment, and performing specific treatments under supervision. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in physical therapy and requires a high school diploma or GED, along with on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient-related activities as assigned by a Licensed Therapist.
• Conduct department-related activities necessary for the routine operation of the service.
• Ensure the safety of patients during rehab services.
• Transport patients when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness in the Therapy Department by changing linens and cleaning equipment.
• Perform hydrotherapy maintenance (whirlpool).
• Carry out specific patient treatments under the supervision of a Licensed Therapist.
• Assist with clerical duties such as answering phones and filing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Some college experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new programs.
• Competent with mathematics.
• Demonstrate quality customer service skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in a medical setting is preferred but not required.
• Experience as a Physical Therapy Aide in another facility is desirable.
