About the position

As a Relationship Banker at Chase's Barrington Branch, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships with clients. Responsibilities

  • Delivers an exceptional customer experience by acting with a customer-first attitude.
  • Manages assigned customers and proactively meets with them, both in person and over the phone, to build lasting relationships.
  • Discovers financial needs and tailors product and service recommendations accordingly.
  • Engages and educates customers, asks open-ended questions, and listens to establish trust.
  • Influences, educates, and connects customers to technology.
  • Provides financial options for customers using a consultative approach.
  • Learns products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to deliver effective solutions.
  • Works in partnership with Specialists to connect customers to experts for specialized financial needs.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in Retail banking sales, Financial services sales, or a Consultative relationship sales role.
  • High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
  • Must obtain Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6/7, state registration, and Life licenses within 180 days of hire.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
  • Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.

  • Experience adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
