About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Relationship Banker (SAFE) for its National Branch Network within the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. This role focuses on building relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and offering a full range of retail banking products and services. The position requires compliance with the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act and involves customer contact, account servicing, and collaboration with financial advisors to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and understand their banking needs.
• Identify opportunities to offer Wells Fargo retail banking deposit and credit products.
• Analyze business challenges related to full-service banking for affluent customers.
• Present recommendations for resolving inquiries and service requests regarding accounts.
• Open and service accounts within authorized limits and create follow-up plans.
• Provide information to enhance customer experience and connect them with appropriate partners.
• Partner with financial advisors to address investment or retirement needs.
• Provide self-service digital banking options to customers.

Requirements

• 2+ years of customer service experience or equivalent.
• 1+ year of assessing and meeting customer needs or issue resolution experience.
• 1+ year of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and partners.

Nice-to-haves

• Successfully completed FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations.
• Customer service focus with experience handling transactions across multiple systems.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience mentoring and peer-coaching.
• Knowledge of retail compliance controls and risk management.
