Responsibilities
- Identify customer needs and make appropriate referrals through proactive sales/service efforts.
- Service, sell, and cross-sell deposit accounts, loan products, insurance products, and cash management services.
- Safeguard the bank's assets and ensure the security of the working environment while processing transactions accurately.
- Maintain and balance a cash drawer, with abundant cash handling expected.
- Open, close, and maintain accounts.
- Achieve sales and referral goals quarterly while providing excellent customer service.
- Make outreach calls to customers and/or prospects.
- Meet and greet the public in a professional manner that reinforces Trustmark's service standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Ability to meet sales goals in a retail environment.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn internal technology systems.
- Understanding of basic math concepts and principles.
- Must pass appropriate assessment tests.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Time management skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Strong customer service and sales skills.
- Ability to display a professional appearance and mannerisms.
- Experience in maintaining and balancing a cash drawer preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Twelve (12) months sales experience preferred.
- Twelve (12) months face-to-face customer service experience preferred.
