About the position

The Relationship Banker II at Regions is responsible for engaging with customers and prospects to assess their financial needs and provide tailored solutions. This role emphasizes proactive customer service, sales, and relationship management, with opportunities for career growth and development within the banking sector. The ideal candidate will be driven, competitive, and possess strong communication skills to effectively meet customer goals and enhance their banking experience.

Responsibilities

• Achieves branch targets and goals by identifying customer needs and providing appropriate guidance about Regions' solutions.
• Conducts outbound phone calls using generated customer and prospect lead lists to expand existing customer relationships and acquire new ones.
• Educates and advises customers on Regions' Consumer and Business products and services, including all loan and deposit types.
• Educates customers on emerging technology and digital solutions such as mobile, online, and ATM offerings.
• Provides a consistent optimal customer experience, including greeting customers and processing transactions.
• Owns and resolves customer issues and refers complex financial needs to internal experts.
• Follows all bank processes and procedures and adheres to applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work Saturdays as needed
• Ability to handle cash and process cash transactions
• Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels
• Ability to use a computer frequently, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift up to twenty (20) pounds
