About the position

The Relationship Banker at Bank of America is responsible for engaging clients in the lobby, educating them on self-service banking resources, and assisting with transactions. Responsibilities

  • Engages clients in the lobby to educate and assist with transactions through self-service resources.
  • Processes cash transactions accurately and efficiently for clients as needed.
  • Builds relationships with clients to meet their financial needs.
  • Follows established processes and guidelines to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Grows business knowledge and network by partnering with experts in small business, lending, and investments.
  • Manages financial center traffic, appointments, and outbound calls effectively.
  • Drives the client experience and manages cash responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and build strong relationships.
  • Passion and commitment to improve clients' financial lives.
  • Confidence in identifying solutions for clients based on their needs.
  • Effective communication skills and comfort engaging with clients.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new information and technology platforms.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in financial services and knowledge of the industry, products, and solutions.
  • One year of successful sales experience in a salary plus incentive environment.
  • Six months of cash handling experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree or business-relevant Associate's Degree.
