About the position

The Relationship Banker position at First National Bank is designed for individuals to develop proficiency in consumer banking transactions, account servicing, and lending. The role involves executing branch leads, handling customer transaction requests, and identifying opportunities for sales or referrals. The incumbent will adhere to FNB's policies and values while potentially working at various locations within the market.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the sales process through greeting customers and identifying their service and product needs.
• Makes appropriate recommendations for selling and cross-selling Bank products and services.
• Identifies and achieves individual weekly sales/referral goals set by the Branch Manager.
• Incorporates FNB digital products and services into customer interactions.
• Inputs and maintains effective data quality for all referrals, customers, and applicants using FNB approved branch technology.
• Completes and manages the lifecycle of all new and existing relationships according to consumer bank standards.
• Performs routine operational duties, including traditional teller transactions and other operational tasks according to established policies and procedures.
• Serves as a risk manager by understanding, reporting, and managing risks encountered daily.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0 years of job-related experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to use a personal computer and job-related software.
• Basic level proficiency in MS Word, intermediate level in MS Excel, and basic level in MS PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of banking policies, procedures, consumer products, and services.
• Sales and customer service skills.

• Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry Identifier preferred but will be required.
