About the position

The Relationship Manager for Branded Retail at Texas Capital Bank is responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring appropriate client coverage, and identifying opportunities to deepen the bank's relationship with clients. This role requires a proactive approach to client acquisition and management, focusing on achieving production goals and understanding clients' strategic and financial objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure appropriate client coverage through disciplined calling efforts.
  • Develop a strategic client acquisition pipeline to deepen and expand the portfolio.
  • Embrace the TCB Sales Excellence process to align with product partners.
  • Focus on targets and deadlines, achieving production goals and calling metrics.
  • Implement a proactive approach toward managing expenses to ensure a healthy P&L statement.
  • Stay current on financial product knowledge, markets, and regulations.
  • Surface issues and provide feedback to corporate functional leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field/experience required.
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of commercial banking experience required.
  • Prior experience in credit analysis and/or portfolio management with a focus on middle market and corporate clients.
  • Formal Credit Training or commensurate underwriting experience required.
  • Excellent intrapersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Salesforce and MS Office products.
