About the position

The Relationship Manager for Key Clients at GHD is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients in the water industry. This role focuses on delivering personalized solutions, driving client satisfaction, and achieving growth targets through effective client management and innovative strategies. The position requires collaboration with a high-performing team to address client challenges and enhance the overall client experience across various stages of the client journey.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a 3+ year Key Client growth plan using CX tools, focusing on client experiences across the 5 phases of the client journey.
  • Establish strong, long-term relationships with clients, building an intentional network between GHD and the client.
  • Drive financial performance by setting ambitious goals and proactively monitoring data to inform investment decisions.
  • Utilize an understanding of the client's business and market trends to identify growth opportunities and deliver value-added solutions.
  • Effectively resolve complex client issues, collaborating with internal teams for timely resolutions.
  • Monitor and seek to improve client satisfaction across GHD's Clients' Voice framework, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Advocate for client perspectives and mentor internal stakeholders using feedback metrics and performance goals.
  • Play a leadership role in developing a forward-looking opportunity pipeline and participate in project acquisition activities.
  • Champion accurate client data and documentation in Salesforce, providing regular reports to senior management on client performance.
  • Lead and influence the client experience through effective Client Engagement Team leadership.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a client management or business development discipline or related client-facing role.
  • Successful experience in forming strong and collaborative relationships with clients and internal team members.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proactive and responsive communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail to synthesize insights and information.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office suites and CRM technology (Salesforce).
