About the position

The Relationship Manager II in Corporate Banking is responsible for developing and managing relationships with major corporate clients, typically with revenues exceeding $500 million. This role focuses on providing tailored financial solutions, ensuring client satisfaction, and managing the profitability and risk of the assigned portfolio. The position requires proactive engagement with clients, collaboration with internal teams, and participation in community activities to promote the bank's services and attract new business.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies, develops, and builds profitable relationships with prospects and customers consistent with the objectives of the bank.
  • Works proactively with customers to ensure adherence to the bank's credit quality standards.
  • Develops relationships and collaborates with other CNB departments to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.
  • Prepares a Relationship Plan and calling schedule for each client or prospect, identifying business opportunities and soliciting referrals.
  • Calls on existing or prospective clients to discuss and promote all Bank products and services, establishing a total client banking relationship.
  • Negotiates transactions, prices loan products, documents and closes loan transactions, ensuring compliance with Bank policy and regulatory requirements.
  • Represents the Bank by participating in civic and community affairs and industry-related organizations.
  • Monitors and analyzes relationship results and account activities, determining client profitability and making recommendations for account management.
  • Maintains awareness of competitive products, practices, rates, and market conditions.
  • Analyzes problem credits and collaborates with clients to develop solutions to minimize loss exposure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Relationship Manager.
  • Minimum 4 years of credit experience.
