About the position

The Relationship Manager - Private Bank Lending is responsible for establishing lending relationships with high net worth clients within a designated geographical territory. This role focuses on growing the loan portfolio and requires significant travel to meet with financial advisors and office managers. The position emphasizes collaboration with various teams to promote the Bank's lending services and achieve individual growth and production goals.

Responsibilities

  • Call on assigned target market to establish lending relationships with high net worth clients.
  • Work with the Chief Banking Officer, National Sales Director, and other teams to identify target Financial Advisors.
  • Make a minimum number of phone and in-person calls to new and existing advisors.
  • Grow the loan portfolio by $100 MM plus annually and produce a minimum amount of Gross loan fundings annually.
  • Develop new business by contacting existing or prospective Financial Advisors and firms.
  • Use the Bank's CRM and marketing plans for target market coverage and reporting.
  • Coordinate efforts within targeted offices and firms, Financial Advisors, and clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of financial services experience required, including private banking, brokerage, or asset management experience.
  • Experience in building and developing relationships in the designated territory.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
  • Well-developed customer relationship skills.
