About the position

As a Relationship Manager on the Education Success Team at Handshake, you will be responsible for ensuring the success and retention of education partners. This role involves creating effective engagement strategies, managing relationships, and leveraging customer feedback to enhance the overall experience. You will work closely with various teams to deliver exceptional service and drive business growth through renewals and expansions.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure education partners are healthy, happy, successful, and retained.
  • Create repeatable and reusable tactics for driving engagement across education partners' teams.
  • Channel the voice of the customer to highlight success and rally necessary stakeholders.
  • Answer questions regarding the Handshake product and help customers resolve data health issues.
  • Expand and deepen product adoption and usage among career center partners.
  • Gather and share best practices for leveraging the platform to drive student engagement.
  • Consult with education partners on their workflows to adapt processes to the Handshake product.
  • Own core relationships with a defined segment of education partners and cultivate meaningful relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ensure successful implementation for all new partners and manage renewal rates.
  • Drive customer value from the product and implement scalable solutions for a large book of business.
  • Track account health and implement action plans for at-risk accounts.
  • Collaborate across the organization to meet customer needs efficiently.
  • Provide effective project management for strategic initiatives and execute training webinars.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Customer Success experience.
  • Proven experience with SaaS and ability to quickly learn tech stack.
  • Experience working with a large book of business and implementing scalable solutions.
  • Ability to build relationships with customers and navigate complex conversations.
  • Highly articulate and professional communicator.
  • Ability to prioritize workload while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Curiosity and a discovery mindset.
  • High degree of technical aptitude and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to provide ideas for improving internal team structure.
