The Reliability Electrician III position is crucial for maintaining and ensuring the capacity of equipment assets in assigned areas of responsibility, which directly impacts optimal efficiencies at the lowest reasonable cost. This role emphasizes safe work practices and high-quality, precision work with a strong customer service orientation, supporting the company’s commitment to delivering great products and services. The Reliability Electrician III will adhere to established standards and best practices acquired through training and work experience, while also sharing maintenance knowledge and application skills through mentoring Reliability Electrician levels II and III. Continuous personal growth in knowledge of maintenance practices and equipment performance is essential, as understanding their impact on manufacturing processes and business objectives is a key aspect of this role. In this position, the Reliability Electrician III will be responsible for maintaining manufacturing processes and support equipment at the highest reasonable performance levels. This includes working with electrical systems such as MCCs, inverters, motors, and control systems like PLCs and robotics. Troubleshooting and executing repairs of equipment that contribute to safety, quality, and productivity issues is a critical responsibility. The electrician will differentiate between various cause types when troubleshooting, including product, process, mechanical, and electrical contributors. Effective communication of findings, potential causes, and corrective steps to operations and maintenance leadership is vital. The role also involves verifying, providing feedback, and updating electrical schematics in a timely manner. The Reliability Electrician III will execute and assist in the development of proactive maintenance plans, including preventive maintenance (PM) and condition maintenance (CM) activities. This includes the inspection and measurement of equipment components, repair and replacement of components identified through PM and PdM activities, and ensuring that detailed job plans are developed and updated as necessary. Additionally, the electrician will mentor Reliability Electrician II's and III's in developing their skills while also strengthening their own skills through collaboration with Reliability Electrician V's on installation, upgrades, and removal of general electrical systems.
