Reliability Operator B (GoM - Offshore Rotator) Job

About the position

The Reliability Operator B position at Hess Corporation is responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operations in offshore production environments. This role involves the competent operation and maintenance of process systems and associated equipment, adhering to regulatory and company standards. The position operates on a rotational basis in the Gulf of Mexico and includes a hybrid work schedule, allowing for both remote and in-office collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Comply with BSEE and USCG regulations and Hess EHS standards.
• Participate in safety observation programs and demonstrate leadership in safety.
• Prepare process equipment for maintenance and assist in maintaining safety databases.
• Report potential safety and operational issues to management.
• Manage day-to-day operational priorities to maintain facility integrity and optimize production.
• Monitor and adjust production parameters and conduct sampling for process operations.
• Participate in emergency response exercises and comply with emergency response plans.
• Recommend changes to maintenance strategies and provide input for project preparations.
• Engage in continuous improvement processes and participate in root-cause failure investigations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
• Experience working offshore deepwater is desirable.
• Knowledge of offshore production operations and BSEE GOM regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in SAP or other Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Good computer skills with Microsoft 365 suite.
