About the position
The Relief Account Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and merchandising efforts for Keurig Dr Pepper brands within the Greater East Orlando area, including Davenport, Poinciana, Kissimmee, and Metrowest. This role focuses on up-selling, fulfillment, and retention of large format customers, ensuring a seamless experience in the absence of an Account Manager. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekend work and potential overtime, to meet the demands of the territory.
Responsibilities
- Sell Keurig Dr Pepper brands to maximize growth, share growth, distribution, and to obtain specific volume objectives.
- Contact key personnel in assigned accounts to pre-sell products, promotions, displays, and service requirements.
- Develop and implement beverage shelf re-allocations to maximize sales of Keurig Dr Pepper brands.
- Participate in the installation of revamped beverage sections and displays according to company merchandising standards.
- Stock and merchandise Keurig Dr Pepper brands in allocated beverage sections, including racks and secondary displays.
- Assist in the sale, placement, and changing of vendors in chain store accounts; check for proper mechanical operation and product availability.
- Maintain accurate sales records for all assigned accounts, including reports on promotional activity and competitive sales.
- Maintain adequate amounts of back stock in each account to ensure product availability.
Requirements
- Experience in sales or account management, preferably in the beverage industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with key personnel in accounts.
- Ability to analyze sales data and implement strategies for growth.
- Knowledge of merchandising standards and practices.
