The Relief Sales Manager for Greater Lenexa is a pivotal role within Keurig Dr Pepper, responsible for driving sales growth and ensuring the effective execution of merchandising strategies. This position focuses on up-selling and fulfillment/replenishment of products, with a strong emphasis on customer retention and penetration within large format accounts. The Relief Sales Manager will be accountable for managing on-premise customers and will support a variety of popular Keurig Dr Pepper brands, including 7UP, Snapple, Core, Bai, and others, ensuring their presence in retail stores throughout the assigned territory. The role requires a proactive approach to selling, where the manager will maximize growth and distribution by providing a seamless experience to customers in the absence of an Account Manager. This includes contacting key personnel in assigned accounts to pre-sell products, promotions, and displays, as well as managing service requirements. The Relief Sales Manager will also be involved in developing and implementing beverage shelf re-allocations to optimize sales, participating in the installation of revamped beverage sections, and ensuring compliance with company merchandising standards. In addition to sales responsibilities, the Relief Sales Manager will stock and merchandise products in allocated beverage sections, assist with vendor placements in chain store accounts, and maintain accurate sales records. This role is essential for ensuring product availability and effective merchandising, contributing to the overall success of Keurig Dr Pepper's operations in the region.
