About the position

The Relief Sales Manager is responsible for up-selling and fulfillment/replenishment of Keurig Dr Pepper brands in the Greater Kansas City area. This role focuses on execution and merchandising, ensuring customer retention and penetration of large format customers while handling on-premise accounts. The position requires flexibility to work overtime as needed and involves direct interaction with retail stores to maximize growth and distribution of products.

Responsibilities

• Sell Keurig Dr Pepper brands to maximize growth, share growth, distribution, and to obtain specific volume objectives.
• Contact key personnel in assigned accounts to pre-sell products, promotions, displays, and service requirements.
• Develop and implement beverage shelf re-allocations to maximize sales of Keurig Dr Pepper brands.
• Participate in the installation of revamped beverage sections and displays according to company merchandising standards.
• Stock and merchandise Keurig Dr Pepper brands in allocated beverage sections, including racks and secondary displays.
• Assist in the sale, placement, and changing of vendors in chain store accounts.
• Maintain accurate sales records for all assigned accounts, including reports on promotional activity and competitive sales.
• Maintain adequate amounts of back stock in each account to ensure product availability.

Requirements

• Experience in sales or merchandising, preferably in the beverage industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and key personnel.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet sales objectives.
• Proficiency in maintaining accurate sales records and reports.
