About the position

The Dynamics Power Platform Technical Architect plays a crucial role in delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions, focusing on business processes and solution design. This position involves hands-on configuration and customization of Dynamics Power Platform solutions, collaborating with both onshore and offshore teams. The architect will ensure high-quality implementation and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics 365 projects, contributing to a growing business area within a leading firm.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, execute, manage and document workshops, meetings and requirements sessions with client representatives and stakeholders.
  • Interface effectively with the consulting team to provide sustainable and scalable solution architecture.
  • Deliver high-quality business and software solutions to clients, ensuring adherence to Microsoft Dynamics standards.
  • Ensure completeness in meeting business requirements and take accountability for project deliverables.
  • Deliver consultancy and configuration work according to project methodology, ensuring timely and budget-compliant implementations.
  • Maximize usage of low code/no code platforms and provide technical design for identified features.
  • Contribute to technical presales and build demo solutions for client presentations.
  • Proactively skilling up on new versions and technology stacks.
  • Create Dynamics 365 solutions and industry templates.
  • Meet and exceed customer expectations in business knowledge and skills.
  • Identify and mitigate business/project/technical/support risks.
  • Communicate progress updates to relevant parties.
  • Support practice development activities and define industry-specific solutions.
  • Be an active member of technical and design working groups.
  • Ensure timely completion of internal processes and mandatory trainings.
  • Drive process improvement and feature reusability initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Represent the Microsoft Business Solutions team professionally.

Requirements

  • A University graduate with a relevant degree in computing or business discipline.
  • At least 8 - 12 years of IT experience.
  • Expert level experience with Power Platform/Dynamics 365.
  • Strong knowledge of Power Platform (Core), Power Apps (Canvas & Model Driven), Power Automate.
  • At least 6+ years of relevant experience on Power Platform Core (Dataverse/CDS, Canvas Apps, Model driven apps, Power Portals/Power Pages).
  • Proven experience with Power Automate/MS Flow focusing on efficiency and performance.
  • Strong working knowledge of Azure (Azure Functions, Service Bus, Application Insight, Power Shell).
  • Experience with Power Virtual Agent, AI Builder, Robotic Process Automation/Desktop Flow.
  • Experience in building & deploying Power Apps component framework (PCF Control).
  • Power Platform developer and architect certifications are desirable.
  • Experience using agile software development methodologies (i.e., Scrum & Azure DevOps).
  • Experience in Objective Oriented Analysis & Design (OOA&D) with UML.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps & CI/CD pipelines.
