About The Position

The Remittance Processing Specialist II is responsible for performing complex sorting and decision-making of non-standard or rejected transactions. This role focuses on the day-to-day functions of reject decisioning and processing, ensuring accurate handling of transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Computer skills.
• 1 year of experience in a related field.
• Ability to read and make decisions.
• Ability to work well independently and with others.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to change and learn new processes.
• Must meet established standard minimums for productivity and accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex sorting and decision-making of non-standard or rejected transactions.
• Pull rejected transactions from all processing areas using reports and processing audit trails.
• Perform basic level transaction sorting and decision-making.
• Header batched items with control documents and processing header.
• Perform extraction and scanning on high speed and moderate to complex client handling using specialized equipment.
• Process medium to high complexity client sorting and transaction decisioning.
• Assist with training when needed.
