About the position

Rowan Energy Norway is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Account Receivable Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position is crucial for the financial health of our organization, as it directly impacts cash flow and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies while providing excellent customer service to our clients. As the Remote Account Receivable Manager, you will manage the accounts receivable process, which includes invoicing, follow-up, and collections. You will also be responsible for reconciling customer accounts and maintaining accurate records. Analyzing accounts receivable data and providing regular reports to management will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding receivables, ensuring that our financial operations run smoothly. In addition to your core responsibilities, you will stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in accounts receivable management. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. You will also perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the finance team and the organization as a whole.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, follow-up, and collections
  • Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate records

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable management, preferably in a remote or virtual environment
  • Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience in a remote or virtual work environment is preferred
