About the position

Outlier is seeking experienced English writers to assist in training generative AI models through a freelance, remote opportunity. This role involves reading and evaluating AI-generated text, rewriting prompts, and assessing the factuality and relevance of the content produced by AI. The position offers flexible hours, allowing writers to work at their convenience while contributing their expertise to enhance AI models.

Responsibilities

• Read English text to rank responses generated by AI models.
• Write and rewrite prompts and responses, including research and fact-checking.
• Assess the factuality and relevance of AI-generated text.

Requirements

• Experience as a professional writer or editor.
• Currently enrolled in or completed a bachelor's degree or higher in a writing-related discipline at an accredited institution.
• Strong writing style with exceptional English-language spelling and grammar skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to clearly explain strengths and weaknesses of text.
