About the position

The REMOTE Apriso Solutions Architect position at Belcan involves providing technical leadership for the design and implementation of Apriso-based Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). The role focuses on creating prototypes, functional specifications, and architectural designs that serve as the foundation for implementation, while also ensuring best practices are followed throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Architect solutions using the best business practices utilizing the Apriso Software suite of products
• Create conceptual designs, process definitions/functional business blueprints based on identified requirements
• Develop and implement processes to evaluate, capture, and apply best practices and lessons learned
• Perform handover of the Blueprints to the Project/Delivery Managers and/or Implementation Leads
• Create appropriate technical designs based on functional specifications
• Promote the development and use of repeatable solutions with focus on reusable templates and time to value
• Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to partners and customers
• Assist Project Managers for Pre-Sales RFP and questions from Field Pre Sales Consultants
• Assist in providing technical and functional help for packaging solutions for vertical industries
• Lead internal process improvement of Apriso business practices and procedures

Requirements

• Experience in implementing MES software for key modules such as Production, Quality and Warehouse
• Understanding of Apriso data model and Apriso process builder framework
• Knowledge of material management as it pertains to the shop floor
• Working knowledge of Project Management and presentation software business tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Minimum of 8 years in a Supply Chain/LES/MES/ERP/Automation functional/technical role
• Minimum of 8 years' experience in the Information Technology Industry
• Programming background with C#, SQL/PL SQL, Java and web-based technologies
• U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder

Nice-to-haves

• SAP or Oracle applications experience
• Experience using Biztalk Server, SAP Business Connector
• Business Process Certifications, such as APICS, CPIM
• Strategic Program Certifications, such as Six Sigma Black Belt
• Understanding of RF and RFID technologies and devices
