About the position
The Remote Audiologist position at HearingLife involves providing clinical expertise to diagnose and treat hearing loss while ensuring a positive patient experience. This full-time remote role requires a licensed audiologist in the state of Utah and focuses on delivering high-quality care, growing the patient population, and meeting financial goals for the practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality care and aftercare of dispensing services such as hearing tests and hearing aid fittings.
- Perform checks on hearing aids and other amplification devices, including troubleshooting and repairs.
- Achieve practice growth with a focus on sales and key business metrics while maintaining ethical standards.
- Engage in local community outreach and develop relationships with physicians.
- Counsel patients on the purchase of hearing aids, devices, and accessories, and maintain knowledge of payment methods.
- Meet clinical finance targets in collaboration with the PCC and Manager.
- Support Telehealth initiatives to expand patient care and product offerings.
- Maintain continuing education requirements as per state regulations.
- Operate audiometric equipment and interpret results for patients.
- Communicate test results and propose treatment options clearly to patients.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be licensed in the state of Utah.
- Experience in audiology and hearing care services.
- Strong communication skills to explain test results and treatment options to patients.
- Ability to operate audiometric equipment and interpret results.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Telehealth services in audiology.
- Familiarity with community outreach and relationship building with healthcare providers.
